I went to Disneyland to see what it had to offer and then I went home.
As soon as I went into the lobby, there was no sign of Mickey Mouse.
I called the park to make sure I wasn’t mistaken.
“Yes, you are mistaken,” said the voice of a manager.
“This is Disneyland Resort, and we don’t serve guests with a special dietary requirement.
However, we would like to let you know that we are happy to serve you with a dietary requirement.”
I was shocked, and I asked the manager if it was possible to get my meal there.
The answer was no.
I was shocked.
Disneyland’s main attraction remains open to guests of any dietary requirement, but the attraction is closed for the season for the new Main Street Electrical Parade.
This is the same thing that happened to me when I went through the door to see Mickey Mouse in the fall of 2016.
It was October and I had to spend an entire day in the parks to see the attraction again.
A lot of people go to Disneyland and stay for a year and don’t come back.
They come back when it’s time to leave.
This is not normal.
I don’t want to live like this, and Disney knows that.
It also knows that people don’t like it, and that’s why they’re closing the Main Street Parade.
That’s why the park is closing.
That was the last thing I wanted to see.
